Academic Editing Services
Copyediting
Copyediting resolves errors in grammar, syntax, word choice, spelling, and punctuation. I’ll catch those sneaky homophones, ensure that tenses are consistent, check for subject-verb agreement, and make sure proper nouns are spelled consistently.
Proofreading
This service provides a final combing to resolve lingering grammatical mistakes and typos in manuscripts that only need a light touch. This often includes correcting typos and ensuring that references and heading styles are formatted correctly.
Citation Work & Formatting
I offer assistance with ensuring that your APA 7 style in-text citations, references, headings, tables, figures, tables of contents, etc., are all formatted correctly. I also identify discrepancies between in-text citations and reference entries and work with you to standardize them. I help you successfully implement both APA and institutional formatting requirements.

Rates
I will customize a quote for you based on the specific word count and needs of your manuscript. This allows me to tailor costs based on the scope of work and time required to achieve excellence in each project.
I usually average six to eight pages an hour when editing academic papers that require light copyediting and reference work. This varies depending on the content and depth of editing required.
For hourly projects, my current rates start at $60/hr.
